Junior Accountant (1 - 3 Years)

This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think
outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done"
spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and record daily journal entries accurately
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), and conduct regular statement reconciliations
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and identify any discrepancies
- Record electronic sales and purchase invoices, and assist in compiling data for VAT returns
- rack and reconcile employee temporary advances and petty cash accounts
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting major)
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience in corporate accounting
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, QuickBooks)
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting cycles
- Good command of both written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Experience with Odoo ERP or other accounting software beyond basic use
- Knowledge of corporate taxation or VAT processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
